So I am way behind on the color challenge and blogging in general since I’ve been so focused on Cae. Hopefully I can catch up on both in the next few days. This dress from ColdLogic’s most recent release was the perfect shade of pink for Week 40′s color, Amaranth. It’s available in a number of colors and patterns and is just so cozy looking.

Cae is Open!
I’m really excited to announce that Cae is finally open. If you’re interested, check out the store website or visit the store. For some fun, there’s a special group gift in the *Cae* update group and tonight (Saturday) there will be a Grand Opening Party with DJ Cajsa Lilliehook from 5-7 PM SLT. Stop by if you have a chance!
And now I owe some people much gratitude. I feel like I’m writing an Oscar winner speech, but I really want to thank a few people for the massive amount of support and inspiration during the past few months as I’ve been learning Blender and creating.
Grazia… who encourages and inspires me so much. She has never-ending patience when I start to whine, and always offers an honest opinion – even when it might not be the one I want. ❤
Lucie… who has gotten me out of several binds and is now dubbed the official Cae product namer.
Sylvia, Veenya, Harlow, Grazia, Lucie… for letting me use their lovely faces in my opening release vendors.
Sophia and Sylvia… who both keep me from throwing myself off the platform on a daily basis.
Elpis… who writes super-duper scripts that make the jewelry customizable.
And last but not least (and because I need a bit more space for this one) – Gos. I don’t even know where to begin and I don’t think I can say thank you enough. I started this project at the end of June when I was feeling a bit bored with SL and blogging and really needed something new to focus on. Gos suggested I learn mesh. I sort of laughed at him to begin with, as I’d already downloaded, opened and closed Blender a number of times in the past. The more I thought about it though, the more I wanted to try. So the journey began with tutorials, countless screenshots, advice and the occasional lecture because hey, I may be a little bit stubborn. He’s been a friend, a mentor, and has been more than happy to kick my ass on numerous occasions when I’ve wanted to give up. He’s pushed me to make things better and redo them twenty times (not an exaggeration), helped me look at things as a creator rather than a blogger, and to not settle for just “good enough”. He’s put a lot of time and energy into supporting and encouraging me and that has truly made the difference and kept me from closing Blender like previous attempts.
I know I have missed some amazing friends.. I’d be here all day listing. So to anyone I’ve missed, thank you. I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know. ❤
PXL Sophia @ Around The World
I’ve admired PXL skins for quite awhile, but in the past I’ve had a hard time getting PXL skins to work for my avatar. They’ve always looked lovely on others, just not me. The Sophia skin is the exception. PXL is giving us a preview of this gorgeous new skin. Found only at Around the World, Sophia and its coordinating shape are available in Sunkissed and Olive tones. Hopefully we’ll see a wider range of skin tones in the near future!
This pre-release comes with bare face, cherry, pale, and pink lip versions as well as three makeup layers – deep, smokey, and cat, and a freckle layer.
