Lots Going On
There are soooo many events going on right now and I’ve been such a bad blogger thanks to RL, Cae, and some other projects that I’m involved with. So first off is Frost where Belleza has several exclusive skins – Kate for the ladies and Ethan and Dylan for the guys. Exile’s Sway with Me hair is available at the Together for Sway event. There are a ton of vendors with proceeds going to benefit Sway Dench.
Today is the last day of the final month of Spruce Up Your Space. You’ll definitely want to check out the participating stores, including MudHoney with the Meredith Chair. Collabor88 began last week and you will find a ton of great things! Trompe L’oeil has an adorable mesh winter cabin that is a must-see and The Sea Hole has lovely lingerie in a ton of colors.

Cinema
Cinema has begun and you simply must go. The build is immersive and really makes you feel like you’re at the cinema – be sure to check out the concessions! You’ll find a ton of great creators with exclusives relating to various genres. Of course, one of the genres is XXX. Trompe L’oeil has created a mesh Peepshow skybox that includes animations for the stage and included chair. Also in XXX you’ll find Cracked Mirror with this ruffly mesh corset and knickers set. Wasabi Pills can be found in the Romance section with the lovely mesh Taylor hair. And what’s a trip to the movies without a little Action/Adventure? You’ll find Gos’ epic Equestrian boots (and their ankle-length counterpart, Hunter) in an exclusive Leopard print version along with the full autumn collection.

Read MoreWhere I’ve Been…
I’ve hinted that there’s been a very good reason for my less than regular blogging, and there is. At the end of June I was feeling a bit bored in SL when a friend suggested I try creating. Initially I just laughed. I’d helped with building a house before… I’ve created really basic things like walls and such… I’ve created HUGE messes, but I’ve never actually done anything that would cause me to feel like an SL content creator. I’ve toyed with the idea before and even went so far as to download Blender, a 3D modelling tool, several times in the past. It has always ended with me opening the application, trying to create something, and failing miserably. I consider myself to be pretty savvy when it comes to software applications, it’s what I do for a living, but Blender was clearly not something I was going to just open up and intuitively learn.
I’ve spent the past couple of months doing tutorials, and while I haven’t mastered the software, I’ve been able to begin creating. While doing this, my blogging has sort of taken a backseat so that I could focus on my new challenge in SL – a store. Cae will initially be a line of original mesh jewelry. I might expand from there, I really don’t know, but so far the designs have all been lush precious metals in some pretty intricate shapes. I’m really proud of them, and I hope that they’ll be well-received when Cae opens.
